Flgastone around pool

I would like to protect flagstone decking around pool from too much water absorption and hard water staining, but would also like to bring out the color and with a slight shine to the stone.  I am not liking the topical, film barrier type of protectant.
Would the Stone Sealer Enhancer be my choice?  Or what are you thoughts?

Hi Boyd,
it is one of the few complications when choosing a sealer for pool surrounds. Whenever discussing a "shine", sheen, semi-gloss or gloss finish, we are referring to topical sealers or coatings.
The downside to a topical sealer is once moisture becomes present, we lose some grip (co-efficient of friction).
The typical means for sealing pool surrounds is to utilise a penetrating sealer. The downside to this in your case is there is no altering of flagstones finish.
While a typical penetrating sealer maintains the natural finish of substrate being applied to, an enhancer darkens and highlights the stone without a slippery film!
